Easy paper Christmas trees

easy paper christmas trees lisa fulmer

Yep - this is the extent of my holiday decorating. A few super quick and easy paper Christmas trees on my coffee table. I cut 6 isosceles triangles from patterned cardstock - any width or height is fine. After scoring down the center and folding in half, you just start gluing them together on the back, using the fold as a guideline. The right side of triangle A adheres to the left side of triangle B and so on. You can use more that 6 triangles if you want a fuller tree that shows just a hint of the paper patterns. This technique is popular with circles to make ornaments - any symmetrical shape will work. It's fun and kid-friendly, too.
