Underneath this pretty woven sheet of handpainted and batik art papers is a super ugly litho image. I found this tray on clearance at the local craft store (gee, I wonder why it was so cheap?) and I just knew I had to alter it. It's made from a lovely dark-stained wood with cut-in handles, perfect for my nightstand.

Hi Lisa, I just found your blog and I am so excited. I love playing with paper. In fact I have been having a love affair with paper for over 60 years. Probably since my first coloring book. I love all the different things that you are doing with paper . . . your blog is very inspiring :) I am your newest follower.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm having a give-away, so please pop on over and enter. I love making new blogging friends.
Your newest blogging sister, Connie :)
Thanks so much!
DeleteThank you for showing the close up of the paper! I love this project from afar, but "aclose" is even better
